Tim is a biologist and science writer from the great state of Alaska. He earned his Ph.D. at Princeton University, during which time he completed a Mass Media Fellowship through the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a policy fellowship through Princeton’s School for Public and International Affairs. He’s taught undergraduate courses at Princeton, Alaska Pacific University, and a maximum security prison in New Jersey. At the start of the pandemic he founded Treuer Words LLC, through which he provides services ranging from data collection and analysis to filmmaking for a mix of academic, non-profit, and corporate clients.
