For the past decade, America Achieves has incubated high-performing initiatives, launched new nonprofit organizations, and partnered with local leaders focused on education, workforce, and economic development strategies. We have helped design, shape, and secure $2 billion in federal funding for a series of new federal programs and policies supporting place-based economic and workforce development programs that have advanced though Congress with bipartisan support – moments of unity that are all too rare in today’s political landscape. We are now exploring deep partnerships with dozens of communities working to strengthen local economies – and our democracy – by providing new pathways to middle class careers for every American - no matter who they are or where they live.
