Andrew is a senior advisor for economic development at America Achieves, whose firm Trueblood.city specializes in housing, economic development, and place-based policy. He is also a nonresident fellow at the Urban Institute and an adjunct faculty member at Georgetown University. Previously, Andrew served as the Director of the DC Office of Planning and Chief of Staff at DC’s Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development. Before joining the District Government, Andrew worked at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institution Fund, and the DC Housing Authority. Andrew holds a Masters in City Planning from MIT and a B.A. from Princeton’s School of Public and International Affairs.
