Allison Jones is Senior Director at America Achieves and leads our good jobs economy initiative focused on building an inclusive economic growth and local good jobs economy for everyone. Allison has over a decade of state policy experience, having served as Secretary of Policy and Planning to former PA Governor Tom Wolf and Senior Policy Advisor to former MN Governor Mark Dayton and Lt. Governor Tina Smith (now U.S. Senator Smith).
Allison’s career has focused on expanding equitable access to opportunity and pathways to upward social mobility. In addition to advising executive leaders on education, workforce, community, and economic development policy, she previously served as Executive Director of the PA Workforce Development Board and Assistant Commissioner for Policy at the MN Department of Employment and Economic Development.
Allison is a graduate of St. Olaf College and holds a Masters of Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. Allison grew up in Minnesota and now lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
