With a strong background in operations, Kristy came to America Achieves from Alper Strategies & Media in Michigan, where she served as the Director of Firm Operations and managed multiple high-profile media and public affairs projects and accounts in the public and private sectors. Before then, she worked as a Senior Manager of Operations at a tech start-up where she managed multiple business lines and built a diverse talent pipeline through recruitment, training, and development. She is the author of “Woefully Under-Regulated: The Unexplainable Fight For Better Health-Protective Laws,” a research paper published by Baylor University that analyzes the legislation that governs the personal care products industry and how the lack of regulation poses a threat to human health.

She holds a Masters in Public Affairs from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Baylor University.
