Diane Ford serves as Chief Financial & Administrative Officer, overseeing all of the organization’s administrative and finance functions. Prior to joining America Achieves, Diane was the Chief Operating Officer for Malaria No More, a 501(c)(3) organization, where she was responsible for establishing and maintaining proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems to effectively grow the organization and ensure its operating efficiency and financial strength. Previous positions include Global Head of Human Resources; Finance Manager; COO, Investment Banking; Vice President of Planning and Development and Associate in Investment Banking at the following companies: Princeton Speech-Language & Learning Center, Credit Suisse First Boston and Mabon Securities Corp. Diane is a graduate of Baruch College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

What draws you to the work of America Achieves?


Our children are the next generation of leaders and yet a large percentage are struggling to meet the more exacting proficiency standards in English language arts and mathematics. We need to continue to improve on performance and move the needle on rate of change to ensure these kids become college- and career-ready. America Achieves is on the forefront of helping to drive this change, and I want to be part of it — it’s critical.


What do we most need to do to improve the lives of America’s youth?


Critical thinking skills and an intellectual curiosity to see the world and the opportunities it provides in a whole new light.
